Britax B-Agile Double Stroller, Red Product Reviews

By Katharine
I have a 2 year old and a 2 month old, searching a stroller for walking around the neighborhood, shopping, zoos and theme parks. Definitely no jogging planned. The other strollers I considered at the time were the City Mini, City Mini GT, Bumbleride Indie Twin. I am not sporty enough for a BOB. Overall, I think it's a great value for the price, and you get a City GT-like stroller, a little less roomy for the kid and without fancy wheels.
Assembly: Really easy! Basically pop on the wheels.
Look: The color is more of a greenish-blue. It looks like a bright turquoise on my computer. I feel that "peacock" is a great description. What bothers me is that the seats seem to angle down on the outer edges. On the first use, a slight amount of blue color rubbed off on my baby's clothes.
Ease of use: Great! Folds up compactly, especially after I got other double strollers to compare, and I appreciated the compactness of this one even more. Automatic locks are handy. I didn't think 28 lbs vs. 34 lbs would make that much of a difference, but boy does it! This one is easy to lift into my car by comparison and takes up much less space. Compared to the city mini, it weighs 1 lb more and < 1 inch wider. It has squeezed through doors without problem for me. I am 5'4" tall, and I do find that the stroller closes quickly, and sometimes I am not lifting it high enough, so the handle scrapes on the floor as it swings down. Got a few bruises on my legs, but with practice I'm sure it would be better. The buckle releases easily. Love the adjustable handlebar!
Storage: pretty good sized basket, but it's a bit shallow at the edges. I could fit a Bjorn, a stroller blanket, a few snacks. It has a reinforced bottom. I really love the large storage pockets on the backs of the canopies. (Bought a Britax parent console, and LOVE it)
Ride: Super smooth on indoor hard surfaces, nice sidewalks, etc. I feel love for this stroller when pushing it inside Target. It pushes very well, but I do find I can feel the "texture" of the road when outdoors, a slight vibration from the asphalt, or the pine needles on the floor. It was hard to push on grass. It steers really well, and can basically turn in a circle. Gets a bit bumpy when there are cracks or uneven sidewalks. The wheels on this stroller do appear cheap, because they are plastic and get worn looking very quickly after one use.
Comfort: You can feel a ridge along the back from the adjustable strap height mechanism in the back. Also, there is a plastic plate behind the headrest. Bothered me to know it's there, but my kids both seem really comfy and sleep in it anyway. I wish that the canopy just opened up in the back completely, instead of having a mesh there. My 2 year old is 36 inches tall, and her head bulges out against the mesh when lying down. She loves climbing into this stroller, and does so easily. Straps are comfortable in the shoulder, but the length seems a little short in the crotch and I couldn't figure out how to adjust it.
Overall: I really really like this stroller, but ended up returning it due to the wheels and the angling of the seats, which bothered me. I think it's a great value for the price, really compact and light for a double stroller. At this time, Britax does not offer any air or "forever-air foam" tires that could be swapped out for the current wheels. I believe the B-ready has these available.

By letterx
I only received this stroller yesterday, but thought I'd let others that are interested in this color know that it is much more green than the blue in the picture! I'm slightly disappointed because my favorite color is turquoise, and was wanting the Britax double but not loving the black or red. Then this color came out and I snatched it up! I still think it's beautiful just not the color I was hoping for.
The assembly of this stroller is ridiculously easy. I've had other strollers where I put a wheel on backwards and couldn't get it off. This is foolproof. Pay attention to which canopy you put where because there is a right and left. It glides wonderfully with my 2 yr old and 1 month old in it. When I saw the box I couldn't believe a double stroller was in there! The stroller fits with plenty of room in the back of my Mazda CX-7.

By uabemsap
My husband and I have a Britax b-ready that we have been using for our 18 month and 2 month old boys. I like the B-ready for one child, but it becomes very heavy and almost unmanageable (for me) when we have the top seat and the car seat in the bottom. It works great for my husband though! We were looking for a second stroller for the other car, and we wanted a side-by-side. I compared this to the baby jogger city mini gt. This one is lighter and my son was happier in this one in the store. I also like that our britax chaperone infant seat snaps right into this one without having to purchase an adapter for the car seat. We have a baby jogger single that we used for trail running with my older child, and I am not sure that this stroller will be able to do trail running, but I was not willing to fork out over $650 for the summit double from baby jogger. We hope to use this as our daily stroller and we hope that our boys will like being side by side as they age. The color is beautiful. So far, we are very happy with it!
