5Works great!
By Audra Kreuscher Smith
I bought this for a stroller that I was borrowing from a friend. (I broke the cup holders that were on it.) It works great! Tue cup holders are deep and studry. I can put my phone in one and it doesn't bounce out. Nice to have a zippered pocket as well!

4Ok bottle holder
By balihai
I have a different stroller that comes with a bottle holder and snack/key tray, so I am a little bummed that Tike Tech requires the bottle holder to purchased separate. Its very easy to attach and remove, washable and durable. I holds a cup of coffee nicely and the center pouch fits keys or a small coin purse. Its nice, but for the price of the stroller, it should be included.

2does not stay in place
By VAM
Overall, the muff is warm and it works okay. My biggest complaint is that it does not stay in place. There is no velcro or snaps to keep it up and every time I put my son in, I have to lift it up or try to hold it up when he gets in. Not an easy task.

3May I suggest a few improvements
By poconc
This is a nice concept but there are a few things that need to be done in order for it to be a 5 star. It fits nicely in the seat and was simple enough to put in. The downside is nothing holds it in place or keeps it from slipping down. I have to pull the back up after I sit my daughter in because it slides down. It doesn't really move a lot when she is in it but a strap or velcro to keep it secure would be a nice touch. I like that it unzips completely but zipping it can be a bit tricky if you have a sleeping or extremely fidgety child due to the location of the zippers. All in all I like the product and though there are a couple things that could be done to improve it, I would recommend this to friends.

5Must have accessory for City Mini
By angela
I am so pleased with this purchase. This is a well constructed foot muff that is soft and fleecy on the inside and waterproof on the outside. It fits perfectly on the City Mini with a slit for the grab handle that folds the stroller so that it still folds perfectly. It also has slits for the belts (although we found that we had to have the belts adjusted higher than normal when using the muff). We were still able to pack the stroller in its carrying case with the muff attached, so no problems there. This muff kept my son warm and dry throughout a recent month long trip in cold weather. This is maybe one of the smartest things I have ever purchased! See more about the City Mini and other accessories on my review at [...]

4Practical, durable and oh so pretty!
By Greatlakes
I have owned both P&T Sport and P&T Explorer before I bought the Navigator stroller. I used to dream of a "love baby" of those two models, which would combine the following features: 1) I need a reclining second seat, so I can recline both seats at least a little bit when my kids fall asleep (sport has reclining 2nd seat, Explorer doesn't) 2) Explorers sun canopy over Sports 3) The easy strap recline over the Sports buckle recline

Well, my dreams were (almost) heard and P&T came out with the Navigator stroller: It has a reclining second seat (check!), It has the follow the sun canopy just like in Explorer (check!), then yikes: It has the BUCKLE recline system similar to Sport instead of the easier strap recline of the Explorer.. Big minus, but I'll live with it...

If my toddler would keep his hands to himself in the bottom seat, and he would not constantly keep opening the buckles of the main seat, I would give this 5 stars... BUT the buckle recline is a major disappointment for the following reasons:

First of all if you have a little prankster sitting in the bottom seat (like mine), and he knows he can annoy his mom and sibling by unlocking the recline buckles, he'll be doing just that.. Several times.. Making both main seat rider and the mom scream (and also making the seat hit their own face at times).

Secondly: It doesn't recline your sleeping child as smoothly as the strap recline (mom has to support the seat while releasing slowly both side buckles, so that the child doesn't just quickly fall downwards). Everyone knows you do not want to wake up a sleeping baby, right?! Also, once your little one wakes up, you'll have to once again lift the seat up (with your child's' weight on the backrest) and then buckle both sides, and then tighten the buckles..

Just little things, but P&T: You had a good recline going on with the Explorer, so I'd love to see that same easier recline with the Navigator as well.

Other than the recline issue, this stroller is very easy to push, very sleek looking with the all black frame and the wonderful color options of the hoods and liners, and it can fit trough any doorway you may possibly imagine (maybe not a fairy door)..

The basket is large, and has enough room for baby essentials even if used in doubles mode, and the seat liners are very easy to remove and clean (so even if you've had to bribe your kids to be quiet and let them eat ice cream in the stroller, do not worry: just wash the liners once you get home).

I would highly recommend this stroller to anyone, it's great as a single, it's great as a double. And maybe one day it can be folded with the second seat attached to the back???

4So far so good
By Steve Strange
I have tried numerous strollers (the Orbit, Quinny Moodd, Britax B-Ready, Umbrella strollers) however the Phil & Ted Navigator is my first jogging style three wheel stroller.

The Navigator is lighter in comparison the Orbit
Taller for my husband to push than the Moodd
Has double capabilities like the B-Ready (but is a jogger)
More comfortable for my son and more storage than an umbrella.

The front wheel can be adjusted to either lock into place or swivel (it is a bit hard to adjust but once it is in place it is set).
The seat completely upright has a bit of an incline but my so looks comfortable sitting in it and he is a vey tall 22 month old. The seat reclined can go completely flat which is amazing (none of the other strollers I mentioned do that)!
The stroller has an easy one handed push. The handle bar can be adjusted to numerous height levels (but you need both hands to adjust, a bit tricky).
It is easy to fold the Navigator, and it is very compact when folded. Plus you can fold the stroller with the seat attached!
The seat can only go forward facing (the other strollers mentioned seats can go both directions).
The push is smooth because of the large wheels, even over rough terrane the stroller pushes great.
I do prefer foam wheels (Orbit, Britax) so I don't have to deal with tire pumps or flats but the air tires do provide a much smoother ride.
I have not traveled with the stroller yet but lately I prefer an umbrella stroller for airplane travel.

Overal the Phil & Ted's Navigator stroller is a great stroller and would be a great purchase if you are a jogger, plan to have more than one kid, want a stroller from birth until school aged, need a sturdy compact stroller, live in the city and suburbs.

However, no stroller is perfect I have yet to find a stroller that is a 5 star in every category but the Navigator is close!

4Awesome stroller!
By nycmom
I live in NYC, where a stroller is my car. Thus I have a lot of requirements in choosing a stroller. I've always loved the Phil and Teds design. I love how compactly two kids can fit into one stroller. I love the single, front swivel wheel. I can steer the stroller easily with one hand. It pushes so easily. I previously had the E3 Phil and Teds stroller, and recently upgraded to the Navigator. I am so happy with it. The fabric material is really nice and easy to clean. I love the sun hood and I love the adjustable handle. The only negative I can think of is that the basket at the bottom ends up being smaller in the Navigator than in other Phil and Teds double strollers. The doubles kit sits closer inside the basket. So I can't put as big of bags in the basket and the doubles seat is more difficult for a toddler to get in and out of because there is less clearance. But I guess because it sits closer in, it is easier to hang on diaper bag on the stroller handle without it getting in the way of the doubles seat. Otherwise, I am completely happy with this stroller!

5Nice color, great for what it is
By SoGAMom
I've seen lots of reviews on this stroller, so I'm trying to hit on stuff I didn't see.
We actually bought this stroller for an upcoming trip to Disney World and it meets all of the things we were looking for... folds small enough to fit in our car with our luggage, folds so we can take it on the Disney buses, has 2 reclining seats for when our kids get exhausted in the parks, has cup holders (3 for kids, 1 for mom), has some storage, isn't too heavy, is a fun/unique color so we can find it easily.
Color (sunset orange): it's a very nice color combo... the orange is sort of a dusty-orange, sporty looking. and the swirls are bluish-gray. The colors look sporty and fun, but not too bright and crazy. It would work well for girls or boys.
The wheels are small, but sturdy. They can easily handle some uneven pavement, and a trip across some grass. But this is not an "off-roading" stroller and it is not for jogging.
The stroller is narrow enough to fit through "standard" doorways. I can drive it through the front door of my house with a couple inches of clearance on each side.
The stroller is very light, for a double stroller (21 lbs, I think). I can easily lift it with one hand.
The carrying strap is a little silly because it's quite awkward to actually carry the stroller that way. But, when folded, you can hold the handle and roll it like a carry-on suit case (it's a little hard to explain, but is immediately obvious when you've folded it up). So carrying the stroller (even if it's folded) isn't necessary.
It does not fold up itty bity. It folds very flat (the width of the 2 seats, the same height as the unfolded stroller, but only 5 o r 6 inches thick). Then you fold the flattened stroller in half (fold the 2 seats toward each other) to end up with a folded stroller that is as wide as 1 seat, as tall as the unfolded stroller, and about 2 feet thick. We've found that it's better to just leave the stroller flat if we're putting it in our car. But when folded completely, it stands up on its own and can be wheeled around (as I already mentioned).
The are 3 cup holders in the front and 1 parent cup holder in the back.
The baskets under the seats aren't huge, but they're as big as they can be (if you want bigger baskets, get a bigger stroller). And each canopy has a pocket in the back that could easily hold cell phone, sun glasses, keys.
The canopies do not rotate forward like some strollers. The canopies are a good size, but they are either folded or unfolded; you can't rotate them forward if the sun is shining right in your kids' eyes.
The stroller comes with 2 plastic pieces that can be used to attach a combi shuttle car seat. I haven't tried this feature, but it looks like it would work fine. Note: it will only hold 1 car seat (so it'd be fine for 1 toddler and 1 infant, but not 2 infants with car seats).
It also has built-in "boots" on both seats. It is a piece of fabric that attaches from the bottom of the seat over the cup holder bar. It's to make the seat like a bassinet so your baby can't fall out the bottom. My kids are a little too big for this, but it looks like it might be a good option for a little baby without using the combi car seat.
My older son is about 38 inches tall and the top of his head is at the top of the stroller seat. So it'll probably be fine for a couple few more inches, but after that he won't be able to rest his head comfortably anymore (but it will still offer a place to sit).

5BEST STROLLER EVER!
By Micki Cottam
(Review for 2011 Combi Twin Sport EX) Best baby product I've ever bought!! I have currently have a large (always in the 95%) 2 1/2 year old and a baby on the way in July. I am HUGE researcher and spent dozens of hours looking into and reading reviews on double strollers. I initially wanted a tandem stroller but I finally decided that side-by-side would be best because I wanted my toddler to be able to easily get in and out by herself, fully recline for naps on the go, and have interaction with her sibling that did not involve kicking the back seat.

My MUST HAVES in a stroller were...
-Side-by-side
-Can fit through standard doors easily
-Easy to maneuver
-Light weight (There was NO WAY I wanted to lug around two large kids AND a massive stroller)
-Comfortable and can fully recline in both seats
-Cup holders/snack holders for the kids
-Allows room to grow (I'm the kind of person who likes to make a smart buy that will last a long time)
-Heavier weight limit (my toddler already weighs over 30lbs)

THIS STROLLER DOES IT ALL!! I was excited to order this stroller after all my readings but I still had doubts and was fully prepared to return it after the first use if I was not pleased. When it arrived, my 2 year old immediately went crazy for it! She insisted on sitting in it for hours, so that told me it was comfortable. I've used it several times since it arrived and every time I use it, the stroller impresses me more. It is SO easy to maneuver when the front wheels are put are allowed to swivel and really easy to push even with my large toddler and her same-aged friend.

Some reviewers have said that they dislike the small storage. The storage does not seem too small to me. It will easily hold the necessities (diapers, wipes, snacks, blankets/jackets, etc), but I wouldn't plan on using it for holding all your shopping items w/out using bag hooks.

Another complaint I hear is about the lack of adult cup holders. This one I agree with but to me it shouldn't be a deal breaker. There are A LOT of after market products that can be clipped or secured on the handles to provide adult storage and cup holders, this is what I'm planning on doing in the future.

I also have read that some people claim that they have problems pushing this stroller over small bumps and cracks. I've taken this over several cracks and bumps and haven't had a problem with it at all.

Overall, I LOVE THIS STROLLER! My 2 year old gets excited every time I say we are going to use it. I've started bribing her with it. LOL! The only downsides to this stroller are minimal and can easily be fixed with after-market accessories.

4Great stroller but not perfect
By Betsy E.
I have had this stroller for 6 months now and do like it. I have 2 boys that are 18 months apart. I read a lot of reviews and debated forever on a side-by-side or in-line double stroller, and some days I am still not sure. My "stroller history" is that I have a Chicco stroller that came with my carseat, a chicco umbrella stroller and a Baby trend single jogging stroller so that is what I am comparing it to. The following are my pros and cons after 6 months of use:

PROS:
1 - love that the boys both have good views when we are out. I think my 2 year old would be kicking the seat in front of him and not happy with a blocked view (but have never tried a in-line stroller). I holds his brother's hands which is very sweet
2 - My chicco carseat (not a keyfit - 30 but the one that goes up to 22 lbs) DOES fit in one side when the seat is reclined and my 2 year old is still comfortable in the other side. It fits very securely and snugly with not a lot of finagling to get it that way. It does not snap or click into anything (this stroller technically only accepts combi carseats) but I feel safe going everywhere with it. It definetly won't just fall out. I don't think I would jog on rough terrain with it that way but... see my cons for more on that
3 - LOVE the colors (sunset scribble) and fabric, very quality and does not feel plastic-y
4 - folds flat - I have a full size truck with bed cover and leave it in there, I don't fold it in half usually b/c I don't have to but it does do that.
5 - for a double stroller it is pretty light and small which was one of my main objectives for a double stroller. I love some of the features of my full sized chicco single stroller but I really did not use it that much because it was so big and bulky (mostly used my chicco umbrella stroller when I just had 1 child)
6 - it does fit through most doorways. I have only had 1 door I could not get through and that was in an old store downtown. It is obviously wider than an in-line double stroller so for some of the department stores like Kohls that have crowded paths it is a hassle... but let's face it, I had trouble getting my single chicco stroller through those clothing rack sections so it isn't really the stroller's fault
7 - single handle bar - I can push with one hand. I am 5'7" and it is a good height for me
8 - my 2 year old is big (35 lbs and 36.5 inches at 26 months) and he is comfortable in it... but probably won't be in another 2 years (maybe even 1 year)
9 - attention getter. If you don't want to be noticed then this stoller may not be for you:) With 2 cute little smiling faces side-by-side you will almost almost gets stopped and "ahhh"-ed at

CONS:
1 - child cup holders are pretty useless, too shallow to hold a cup really
2- child bars are bendable and soft (necessary to fold in half) but my VERY active 2 year old yanks and pulls on it when he is restless which is annoying
3 - storage basket is small and hard to get to, especially if one seat is reclined with carseat in it. I can't get my diaper bag in the storage basket. I solved this by getting 2 stroller hooks at target and attaching the bag whick works ok
4 - no parent cupholder bar. It does have the cup holder that attatches but because of the slotted design it does not work well to put keys or cellphone in it AND... when it is attatched it pushes you over the width limit on getting through some doorways. I don't use it and purchased a cloth parent organizer from target that works better but it was annoying that I had to attatch something else to the stroller
5 - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND as a jogging stroller so if that is your main purpose for this then look for something else. I am very pleased with it for store/mall outings but it is difficult to push on uneven terrain or rocky surfaces even if flat. I am researching double jog strollers right now
6 - still fairly large when fully folded. Not much bigger than my chicco single but if you expecting it to be very small (like to carry over your shoulder like shown in some pics) it is NOT that. Probably smaller than other double strollers though (let's face it, anything designed to hold 2 kids won't be tiny)

OVERALL: I think i I was purchasing one now I would look at a sit-n-stand stroller to achive my objective of a compact double stroller for town errands but this stroller has served me well with my kids ages and I plan to keep using it. My son was 18 months old when the baby was born and he would not have stayed in a sit-n-stand. Honestly he probably still would not do that and I like that he can't get out whenever he pleases when I am in stores. If you purchase an after market parent organizer and some stroller hooks (all cheap and easy to find) then you can pretty much fix all the cons of this stroller. If you have 2 young children (3 or under) this is a great stoller for errands on paved surfaces and malls. If you plan on doing a lot of trail walks or zoo type settings and only want 1 stroller I would look at a double jogging stroller (con on using those as your mall/errand stroller is that they don't fit through most doorways I am finding on reviews)

HOPE THIS HELPS

5It's not fair to compare it to a Bob, but let's do that.
By John S
This review is not meant to be a truely in depth head-to-head, but hopefully will get you thinking when you do your comparison shopping. For those die-hard "got-to-have-the-absolutely-most-expensive-that-my-friends-will-recongnize" this will not be the stroller for you.

This stroller is, according to my scale, two pounds lighter than the Bob Dualie. It comes with cup holders for the adult, it comes with cup holders/snack tray for the children, the Bob Dualie does not have either included (although they are avialable for purchase $$$). The Schwinn (Pacific Cycle) has adjustable handlebar, the Bob Dualie does not. This one is, comperably equipped about $400-$450 cheaper than the Bob. It's made in China, but the Bob is made in... China (this one would have swayed me to purchase the Bob despite it's shortcommings and high price, but oh well). This stroller has a handlebar positioned front wheel lock, the bob requires you to stop and fiddle with some knob. Its aluminum wheels and ball bearing wheels roll well enough. It's front wheel had adjustable cup-cone bearings, and were (suprisingly) well adjusted from the factory. The rear wheels were non-adjustable, but that seems par for these types of strollers. I'm a little dissapointed in it's radial spoke configuration, it looks fancy, but mechanically loads the spokes more than the traditional cross-spoke configuration (bike manufacutres for years have sacrified mechanical strenth in wheel sets for cool factor, so I can't fault the Chineese manufacurer for this). Yes the fake sheepskin covers are removable by slipping them out of the harness, I saw one reviewer say that you had to cut them (I imagine they were challenged with opening the cardboard box too).

The Bob does have an infant car seat adapter (available $eperately). This one would take some jerry rigging to safely secure a child seat (read only for those mechanically inclined to do so). The Bob will definitly get you yuppie points while cruizing to your local Starbucks. This stroller will only let you stash away $400 into an interest bearing account for your children's college fund (that's kinda hard to brag about while waiting for your double-almond decaf vanilla frappachino, then again if you skip the frapachinos you could probably double that figure).

Whichever you choose I'm sure you'll be happy.

PS, for those who do purchase this one: The TWO (2) speakers are both packed together in the same pouch. You must seperate them (they stick together because of the magnets of the speaker) and uncoil the wire. When seperated, they work okay for the kids, but don't expect a Bose quality.

3Good stroller for small children
By R. Fahler
I have an eight month old and a nearly 3 year old. I already have a double Maclaran stroller that I use for the mall, traveling, etc but wanted a stroller that I could use for jogging and walks in the neighborhood. I used the stroller for one jog and it pushed very well. I liked the double sunshades that can be adjusted for the angle of the sun. The rubber inserts on the parent cupholders are a great feature since my water bottles always fell out of the shallow cupholders on my single jogger while I was jogging. There isn't too much storage - just the basket underneath and the parent tray. No pockets on the backs of the seats or on the sunshades like my single jogger has. However, the basket underneath is easy to get to and since I was using this primarily as a jogging stroller, I didn't have much to bring with me. I love that the front wheel locks/unlocks by pushing a button near the handlebar instead of having to bend over and flip a switch near the wheel.

I got this stroller because I really liked the price range and I liked the snack and cup trays for the kids. Unfortunately, I am returning this stroller. My eight month old fit just fine but my almost 3 year old is 37.5" and was not comfortable. The seatback is only 17" tall so her head stuck up beyond the seatback so she couldn't rest her head back comfortably. Also, the way the seat is designed, her legs struck straight out instead of bending at the knee like she is sitting in a chair. As a result, one leg sort of rested on the wheel cover and the other dangled off. She tried to twist sideways and bend her legs so she could rest both on the wheel cover, but I could tell she wasn't comfortable. I am wanting to use this stroller for a couple more years and I know there will never be enough room for both of my girls' legs once the eight month old gets taller.

This would be a great jogging stroller for anyone with younger and shorter kids. However, as the kids grow, there just isn't enough head or leg space.

4Best buy compared to all other joggers
By M. ADAMS
Schwinn Turismo Swivel Double Jogger

4 stars

Bottom line, it is insane to drop 700 bucks on a double jogging stroller that is far from perfect. This one is great, and it is even better than some other double jogging strollers we tested. (We looked at most of them. BOB, Mountain Duo, Bumbleride, Valco Baby, BabyTrend, etc.) There is no one stroller which has everything we wanted (adjustable handlebar, adjustable canopies, large/reachable storage basket, well-designed parent tray, easy to fold and store, narrow enough to fit through doors, individual foot rest, weight, etc.) We researched this purchase for over a month. Finally, we decided to purchase the Schwinn online from WalMart because at $220 it looked like it would fit most of our needs, and so we could return it to the local store if it didn't work out. (This model wasn't available for any test drives in the stores that we visited including fancy baby stores, bike shops, and REI). If consumer reports reviewed these things, this would be a best buy.

General Impressions:
- wheel size matters. the bigger the wheel the cushier the ride (and push.)
- one front wheel is definitely better than two (for us, anyway), especially for jogging. It is plenty stable. We just thought 4 wheels felt awkward. when jogging, pushing with two wheels in the front is much harder-- the more wheels the more friction. we greatly preferred one wheel in front.
- fits 3 1/2 year old girl in 50th percentile just fine. feet dangle but she doesn't care. she just moves them around as needed. there's enough head room because the canopies are effective (and can be individually adjusted) but not massive. the reason we didn't buy the $700 BOB was that the canopies were so large that the material compromised head space for our older child. also, our kids like to look out. we're not trying to cover them up 100%. just enough to block the direct sun as needed.
- smooth, easy pushing
- with wheel locked, works great for jogging. I ran pretty at 50-75 percent sprint for a hundred yards or so on a dirt trail without any problems

Pros:
- handlebar control for locking front wheel is an amazing feature. It's otherwise not feasible to wheel the thing into doors at the top of steps. We tried with the BOB and it was comedy material.
- Folding and storage is comparable with other jogging strollers. Easily fits in our Highlander with wheels off with some (not a ton) of room to spare. Also, with wheels off it stands up easily (maybe even with wheels on--i haven't ever tried it).
-nice quality material and the red looks great and is easily visible by others (cars, bikes, etc.) nice safety feature.
-nice adjustable handle.
-great wheels, suspension
-easily adjustable seat incline for each seat.
-nice lamb inserts for the baby.
-nice child tray for each kid (although we wish the snack cup were bigger with an insert so you could pick what size you want depending on what you have in there (snack cup, water bottle)
-decent parent console; same comment on size of cup holders. Parent console does not fit an iPhone but my wife just puts hers in the cup holder.

Cons:
- seats not extremely well padded, like e.g. BOB. This is very minor, kids don't need fancy padding, frankly. Did you have fancy padding when you were a kid?
- wish there was a metal rod between the two footbrakes. there is a hole in each brake for one, but it would probably get caught on the pole between the back wheels (to which the runaway strap is supposed to be connected--overall, it's a good thing to have the strap connected at the bottom than up at the handle bars where it could tip the whole thing if you fell). Such a rod would make it flip-flop friendly.
- it's basically too wide to get in and out of a standard doorway on any regular basis (it does fit, but not easily), but the same thing goes for all of the double joggers (actually some are narrower at 29" but they have two wheels in the front and are $700.) We even brought a BOB home to test it out and it's just not easy. Since we don't have a garage, our solution is to store it in the trunk of our SUV.
- bottom compartment is big, but it's divided in two by a canvas separator thus impairing utility. works fine just not for a large diaper bag.
-ours arrived with only one speaker. would have requested another if we cared about playing music for the kids but we don't.

4For the price, it's more than great!
By Housewife
Just purchased this stroller. I've been dying for a jogger ever since I had my first, and now that we have 2, I finally got one! I purchased this stroller because I didn't want to have to buy 2 double strollers: a normal tandem one for shopping and narrow areas, and a side-by-side jogger. Unless you're willing to pay upwards of $450, tandem joggers just don't seem to be an option, except for this one. So, for the price, and ease of not having to play musical strollers or having to find a place to store the extra (we live in Texas, the garage isn't an option due to the creepy crawlers), this is beyond great!

Here are my lists of pros and cons:

Pros:
- Very tall handle-bar: I am 5'11" and my husband is 5'7". It works well for both of us, but especially for me.
- The child sitting in back cannot reach down into the cargo area, such as I've seen with other tandem strollers, causing headaches for the mothers.
- It fits my Chicco Keyfit-22 car seat with room for my rather tall 20-month-old in the front seat. Note for owners of the Chicco Keyfit-30: I don't believe it would fit the Keyfit-30 very well with a toddler in the front seat. The Keyfit-30 sticks out much further, and your toddler would likely be hitting their head on the back of the car seat.
- When attaching a car seat, it has an adapter bar as well as a strap, which holds the seat securely.
- It has a very smooth ride.
- The parent tray has 2 cup-holders + a covered compartment in the middle.

Cons:
- There is no handbrake. However, it comes with a wrist strap, so the stroller doesn't get away from you while jogging.
- It is rather heavy. I'll have to get used to hoisting it into the SUV, but I need an arm workout anyway! LOL (Note: I've never owned any other double strollers, so it may actually be light for a double, but I'm just used to my single. I really don't know. You'll have to judge for yourself.)
- The child tray is kind of rickety, and when folded, it sticks off the front of the stroller quite far. We just figured we'll leave it off most of the time, if we're going to be taking it in and out of the car frequently.
- When folded, the back wheels make it kind of bulky. However, they are super-easy to remove. So if you have limited space, you can simply take them off and lay them flat.

I hope the info helps!

2Hate This Stroller!
By Nickie1234
I am SO sad that this stroller didn't meet my expectations! I was so pumped when I found it and hoped it would answer all my stroller problems.

Pros:
-pretty easy to push while walking on pavement (I saw a review somewhere that said someone was using this peice of poo to jog with--I would not do this!!) and turns like a dream
-the width is AMAZING!!! It can fit through any door and in any coffee shop...so great!
-basket is pretty roomy, fit lots of stuff!
-My three year olds were comfortable in the back seat
-I love the parent cup holder thingy (something none of my other strollers have) really perfect little set up (wish the child tray was set up as nicely)
-folded size is not bad for a double (folds to be about the same size as my single BOB SUS, pretty big single stroller)
-easy to fold--need two hands so you gotta put down the baby....

Cons:
-I think my kids would kill this stroller in a couple days use! The material is super cheap...I was particularly worried about:
1. Material of stroller wearing down.
2. The foot break is really flimsy--I am fairly sure I will break it if I keep the stroller. Also--one of my kids is very bouncy when excited....we were excited to try the stroller and so she bounced and bounced the foot break out of "lock" position over and over agian. She has always been bouncy but I have never had this problem with my other strollers (she is 30 lbs).
3. The child tray in the front is really flimsy and set much too high for even the three year olds to reach without straining. I am concerned about it breaking with regular use. I also had to remove the tray when folding and storing the stroller because the tray sticks way out making it really vulnerable to breaking as well as making it just that much more difficult to get the stroller in the trunk (no tray for back seat FYI)
4. I have a pair of 3 year olds and an 12 month old. Three year olds fit nicely in back seat but NOT in the front! 12 month old fit nicely in front.
5. The back seat reclines all the way and although I read the instructions and fastened the seat correctly, the seat kept reclining under the weight of my big kids (about 32 lbs)...very annoying.
6. Sun shades are not great because they are really small. BUT it helps that they move freely so you can adjust them with the sun. My 3 year olds couldn't use them at all because they are too tall and the shades hit them on their little heads (they are about average height amongst our three year old friends....)
7. I had a really hard time getting this stroller in and out of my Jeep...and my trunk is HUGE. It is pretty heavy folded (but feels light while pushing) I have an easier time with my other strollers probably because I'm not so scared to break them and just kind of toss them aboard..
8. Folding latch is a joke for a stroller I paid $250 for....I didn't find it to stay latched. This made it harder to try and get the darn thing in my trunk.
9. Back seat rider loooooved to kick back of front seat...ha ha ha...so hilarious that despite the fancy seating arrangement he still found a way to annoy his sisters....he thought it was brilliant!

I really need something that both of the older kids can sit in at the same time when they are all tired out from summer adventures(baby likes the baby back pack still)...and this is not it. I wish this was just even a tiny bit more sturdy...the size and mobility are great! Better wheels would go a LONG way too....back to the search for us!!! If you aren't looking for a rough and tumble stroller for children who belong in the Zoo--this may work for you. I would keep it for short walks/mall trips if I could afford to keep this and also buy something more sturdy for outdoorsy stuff (I jog often with my single and we frequent the beach...my BOB glides over any terrain and this has me super spoiled). We also have a trip to Disney in the future and I would be nervous to take this stroller....for fear of it breaking on us. I think we may just break down and buy the Mountain Buggy + one with the freerider scooter that attaches to the back. I really want a stroller that can get me into the coffee shop/mall/docs office with little beasties restrained and then down to the beach where I can watch them run free...perhaps impossible!

4Practice Makes Perfect!
By ServeLeadMom
This is not the first double jogging stroller I've owned, and certainly not the most expensive, but it's off to a good start where design and function are concerned. I took this stroller out for an inaugural run last night and here are my initial thoughts:

WEIGHT: It's a bit on the heavy side, so you'll definitely build muscle getting it in and out of the car. But on the ground, running was a breeze and I didn't notice the weight of the stroller, nor the weight of my girls I side. Even though it lacks the fancy suspension of a BOB stroller, I had no problem running with this stroller on the bike trail or off the bike on rough terrain.

TURNING: The tandem design of the stroller does require some extra concern when turning, but I expected that to be the case. When the front wheel is in swivel position, the key is to let the swivel do the work for you. When the front wheel is in locked position, making turns is a bit more difficult. However, I find this to be the case with nearly all fixed wheel jogging strollers, especially doubles. My "fix" (on all the jogging strollers I've owned) is to push down on the handlebars and raise the front wheel slightly off the ground. This makes turning a lot easier. I made several 360 degree turns this way (to "pick-up" slower kiddos who were jogging with me) with no concern for safety.

HANDLE HEIGHT/WIDTH: As a 5'6, 125 lb female, I had no issues with the height or width of the stroller handles. They are just right for me and, in all honesty, better than some of the other jogging strollers I've used.

TRAYS/ACCESSORIES: I agree with other reviews in that the tray system (especially the tray arms) could be greatly improved I,proved upon, especially in the front. My 2 yo rode with a sippy cup in the holder and although it did not fall out, it did make quite a racket.

As for the adjustable shades on both seats, I love them! When the back seat is fully reclined, the crown of my baby's head still got a little sun, so I might advise bringing along an extra blanket or a hat for baby if you are using the stroller in the heat of the day (which I wasn't, so it wasn't a big deal for me).

Not having a hand brake was not a deal breaker for me, as I normally don't use them - even on strollers that have them. I went up and down overpass-grade hills while running last night with no issues or concerns about safety.

OVERALL: I feel that this is a great stroller at a great price. I love having the features of a double jogging stroller without the double girth, which takes it's toll on both doors and shoulders!

With a little practice (esp. for new jogging stroller handlers), this stroller can be perfect for meeting both your everyday ( swivel wheel) and recreational (locked wheel if jogging) needs.

4Beware not for newborns: Edited May 24, 2012
By A. John
Received my 4moms Origami Stroller and was really excited to get it but once opened realized that my newborn who's a month old won't be able to use it for quite another few months. The Origami was made specifically for babies 6 months and older. If you want it to use exclusively from birth there is a Graco SnugRide Series Car Seat Adapter that will cost you another $60 from the 4moms website. Additionally there have been talks of a bassinet attachment that will be available soon but as of this time there isn't one available.

Warning: When I say it's not for newborns I really mean it. I placed my 9lb 1 month old in it to see if it would recognize my baby in the seat and it did not which means that it would have folded with her in it.

The Origami comes packed neatly in the box and is easy to put together. The only tool you need is an allen key needed to put the handlebar together. The seat is easy to install and once installed the stroller is put together and done.

The Origami looks really cool and is very easy to operate. I've tried it holding my newborn and the one-handed operation is very easy to use. Simply twist, push the button and it opens and/or closes. There is a sensor in the seat that lets you know whether or not there is a baby in the seat and thus prevents the stroller from folding so you don't have to worry about it folding with your baby in it. The LCD screen lets you know how far you've travelled with the trip meter, there is the battery level, and also external temperature sensor which lets you know how the weather is. There is also no need to worry about the battery dying because it charges while you're on the go another plus, it can also charge your iPhone. Also for those who love to drink on the run you won't have to worry about where to put it because this comes with lots of cupholder space (4). It also comes with reflective seating and really cool headlights in the front of the stroller so you can see at nights and you can be seen.

The biggest con with this stroller is that it is VERY heavy. I can't imagine holding a 6 month old and lifting this. Even with both hands it's still heavy. It's also a little pricey. Selling at $850 and getting the color kit (I got pink) costs another $100 making it a total of $950.

I can't review it entirely in terms of how well it travels on all terrain since I haven't taken it out of the house because my baby is too small for it but as soon as I have I'll be able to update my review.

I've uploaded pics, though not great quality you'll be able to see the stroller besides the generic photo listed.

EDIT:

My baby is now 4 months old and weighs almost 15lbs and we finally took her out in the stroller for her 4 month well baby check up and it now does recognize her as being in the stroller. Because she now has good head control she was able to sit in it with no problem. We just adjusted the straps on the stroller and she was good to go. Since we were only doing about a 30-40 minute visit I decided to "show off" her stroller. If I was going for a longer period where I knew she would fall asleep then I would have used my original stroller since this doesn't recline into a comfortable sleeping position.

It sure was a head turner and I had to demonstrate the folding and opening at least twice in the doctors office.

We were able to use the stroller in the parking lot and I deliberately rolled it along the gravel just to see how the ride would be. I'm pleased to say that it's a smooth ride on both pavement and gravel. My one pet peeve once again is the weight of the stroller. Imagine having an almost 15lb baby in a stroller that weighs almost 30lbs and you'll be lifting close to 45lbs if you have to lift it. Even storing and unstoring it from my caravan on a multitrip can become tiring. Just a heads-up.

Hopefully if there is an Origami 2 they might be able to figure something out and make it just a little bit more lighter so it would be easier to use especially for petite women.

4The Apple of Strollers
By Alice
I researched and studied many, many strollers before deciding on the 4moms origami. My initial "stroller infatuation" was with the Stokke Xplory, but living in an urban area I found its pros (height/direction of seat adjustable) were outweighed its cons (having to take off the seat to fold, complex fold, bulky and other issues), so I began looking into other strollers. The Origami is - obviously - a revolutionary stroller with its power folding mechanism. But, one nifty feature wasnt able to persuade me, so I checked it out in store and made a list of the pros and cons, as follows:

Pros
- Power folding Powerhouse: yep, that's the biggest draw. It folds in a jiffy, no work needed whatsoever. I also really like the fact that it has it's own push-powered generator. You can get additional accessories to charge your cell phone while walking (if you stop pushing, though, it stops charging). The electronic open/close mechanism is seamless, and very user-friendly.
- Full size, adaptable stroller: this is not a small, travel stroller: if you're looking for that, look elsewhere. It is a full size stroller, not exceptionally large but definitely not small. The seat is not reversible, however, when using the additional car seat adaptor, you can have baby facing you.
- Multi-functioning: works as your everyday stroller, travel system and almost-jogging stroller. The origami is not a jogging stroller, but tells you your speed as you walk, and it handles well when I jog with it on the sidewalk.
- Compact Fold: Hooray! One of my biggest complaints and issues with many strollers on the market is that you have to remove the seat when folding. This is true of most designer strollers, making them take up a lot of room in your trunk, hallway or garage. The origami is compact, although not tiny, and it has these wonderful hidden rolling wheels so you can move it around. Best of all, if you need to travel with it, it folds in one piece so you don't need to buy an expensive bag to put it in or risk airlines losing a part of your stroller.
- Good quality, Good engineering: it's obvious a lot of thought went into the design of the origami, and it does push well. You can push it one-handed and it glides around corners. One of my biggest disappointments with the stokke was the horrible engineering in the folding "concept".
- It's cool: like other reviewers have mentioned, its got the wow factor! People stop to ask about the running lights and the overall ergonomic shape of the stroller constantly. They nearly die when I tell them it folds automatically, too! It tells you your speed(mph), the temperature and logs how far you've travelled.

Cons:
- It's heavy: no getting around this one, it's definitely heavy. It's not the heaviest stroller on the market but it's not lightweight like the city mini or even the Stokke (which weighs 20lbs). It's close to 30lbs, which is heavy. But the only time you probably need to pick it up is in and out of your car, and even I can manage that no problem. Now if you're carrying it up 2 or more flights of stairs daily, you will notice it.
- 6 months+: without the car seat adaptor, the stroller is not recommended for babies under 6 months, because it does not recline flat. In my opinion, it reclines enough, but it's definitely not flat. As another reviewer mentioned, it also has a minimum weight recommendation and will not recognize babies under that, meaning that the seat could fold with the baby in it. The reviewer mentioned it did not recognize her 12lb baby, but my husband and I put a 15lb weight in the chair, and it recognized it as having a child in the seat. So, most 3 month olds are about 15lbs, so the seat is definitely usable, if you have a baby with good head control.
- Cost: I guess some people see this stroller as expensive. Its usually around eight hundred dollars; save yourself the sales tax and get. It from amazon or an online retailer. I don't think it's that expensive when compared to other strollers in its class - like the bugaboos, stokke (which is almost double the cost in some stores), or the Uppa!baby. When you compare it to the less expensive strollers like the Hundred dollar graco's and safety first, it's going to seem expensive.

As I said previously: I looked at a lot of strollers before deciding on this one. The other runners up were the City Mini(which I ended up buying for my mother to use with our baby), the Mamas and Papas Urbo, and the Zen stroller. We went with the Origami because it was just so much more convenient than all the others; whilst they had benefits (reversible seats, etc), the origami outshone it all with its 2-year warranty, unique fold and the other features. It's the best stroller on the market for people living in urban areas or cities in my opinion.

1Very poor quality
By Martin Eurnekian
After regular use for a month with a new born and a Gracco car seat, it started failing. Sometimes it wouldn't open automatically, and the manual process is really painful and complicated. Also the front wheels started getting stuck in one directon and wouldn't turn. It's really difficult to manuever like that. Also its size and weight are too big. It almost doesn't fit in small elevators and my wife has a hard time loading it in the car. Another bad point is the car seat adapter, which gets stuck with the car seat and you end up shaking your baby to get it out. In summary a very big, heavy, and poor quality extremely expensive product. Dont buy it.
